What is Telehealth?

Telehealth allows physiotherapists to assess and treat patients over the phone or by video call.

During a telehealth consultation, our physiotherapists can

• Assess your condition.

• Provide a diagnosis.

• Prescribe a rehabilitation and exercise program to manage your condition.

• Education on your injury and what activities to avoid.        

• Recommend self-massage, mobilisation or other self-directed treatment techniques.

• Liaise with your GP or specialist regarding your condition and refer you for scans such as x-ray and MRI if necessary.

Pricing

Our telehealth consultations are charged at $40 for a 30 minute consultation. If you wish to claim using private health insurance, you will need to contact your health fund to see if you are covered (code 811). Following your consultation and payment we can provide you with a receipt for you to claim back from your health fund directly.
